About Us

We are a student group of King George V School based in Hong Kong. We advocate human rights issues surrounding the topics of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.

We are inspired by Matthew Friedman, the founder and CEO of The Mekong Club. We host offline workshops and use online platforms to spread awareness among fellow students and extend influence beyond. And we build outreach connections in UK and Canada.

Our Mission

The word 'equify' stems from our slogan and cause: equity for all.

As a student group, equifyhk aims to tackle a variation of equality issues, with a spotlight on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. We are hosting the 'Be the Hero' campaign in King George V School, through which we encourage teenagers to advocate the cause and provide a platform for them to take action.

Our activities include providing volunteering and donation opportunities, as well as educational events and infographics.
